From unemployed to best selling author…
'We have decided to terminate your employment.”
It’s not a great start to the day, and its one that I’ve got in common with many Australians. And for me, like anyone else, it was a shock, it was depressing, and it made me question just what the hell I was doing.
It was not until later, after months of to-ing and fro-ing, when one contributor finally agreed to an interview, that I understood what it was I had been getting so wrong. The process of getting the interview – and others on ‘Collective Wisdom’ – revealed some important things that I’d overlooked in my life so far, things that were so important they have changed my life direction. It was a pity that I had to lose my job to be able the have the time to work them out.
